FoxyProxy extension

First you will need to download and install FoxyProxy extension: For Chrome or For Firefox

How to Setup Proxy on FoxyProxy browser extension

Setup for Chrome

  1. Click on Options

  1. Within proxies menu, click on Add New Proxy

  1. Choose Manual Proxy Configuration

Enter our gateway’s Host or IP Address and Port (e.g. gate.smartproxy.com:7000 for random IP) and click save.

  1. Go to Proxy mode and select Smartproxy proxy from the drop-down menu.

  1. Check the IP – https://www.iplocation.net/

Setup for Firefox

  1. Click on Options

  1. Select Add

  1. Select Proxy Type HTTP or SSL (HTTPS): enter IP, Port, Username and Password and click Save

  1. Go to Proxy mode and select Smartproxy proxy from the drop-down menu
