How to set up proxy on Firefox

  1. Open Firefox on a computer.
  2. Click on Settings☰ icon > Settings (or Preferences on a macOS).

  1. Click the General tab.
  2. Scroll down to the Network Proxy section and click Settings.

  1. Check the Manual proxy configuration box.
  2. Add endpoint (e.g.: gate.smartproxy.com) and port (e.g.: 7000) to HTTP Proxy field.
  3. Check the Also use this proxy for FTP and HTTPS checkbox.

  1. Click OK.
  2. To see if the proxy is working, check the IP at https://www.iplocation.net/.
